Supersuckers/The Hangmen - split 7"

The Next Big Thing (UK)

The Hangmen Vs The Supersuckers 45 offers “Never Go Home” and “Trouble Man” in an old, loud and snotty demeanour. Rough as a bears arse and flying a rocktastic flag for the sound we veterans will never tire of punching the air to.

What's not to like? Killer pairing of veteran US bands and a dead heat for which side wins. Who cares, spin 'em both. "Flying..." is as catchy as a cold sore and reeks of cigars and cheap whisky. The challenge is not to like it. Submit and sing along. LA's The Hangmen are like a latter-day Gun Club, maybe not as dark and a lot more snotty. "Never Go Home" is a sneering, Stoogeattack, snarly twangy guitars and an uncompromising bottom end. Great disc. The equal of two evils.

Oh yeah...this day started right...postman came...brought that package...i opened it and I found this 7"...put it on the record-player and it blewed me out of my shorts...Supersuckers delivers another piece of Rock´n`Roll´s not that fast, but it´s damn groovy and it´s just "Supersuckers"! The Hangmen are also sitting up front in the long train called "Rock´n`Roll", cause their song "Never Go Home" is a f**ing groovemonster,too...also not fast...but damn catchy...this is high quality vinyl for sure...and if you don´t believe me...order a copy!!!

Oh.. Först ut är Supersuckers med låten "Flying into the midday sun".
