Rickshaw / Noise of Reality – Split 7″

Yet another split 7″ from the folks at HDP Records, this time in cooperation with Bootleg Booze Records.

First out is Rickshaw with another couple of great tunes. Their songs would probably appeal to both “stonerrockers” and fans of Gluecifer and Hellacopters. “Numbing Fuel” have riffs that’s more in the classic hard rock vein, and “Kick It!” is more of a punkrock tune with a great groove… so you’ll get the best of both worlds with these two songs… I’m looking forward to the next Rickshaw fullength…

The Noise Of Reality songs on this split 7″ is the first I’ve heard from this band, they sound pretty different compared to Rickshaw, but just as Rickshaw they got one foot in the punkscene and one in the retro heavy scene… which works nice for me… Both their tunes have huge riffs with a strong 70’s vibe, but just like Rickshaw it’s all delivered with the same kinda high energy rock approach as bands like Hellacopters and Gluecifer…

So if you’re in the mode for some good ole rock ‘n´ roll add this split 7″ to your shoppinglist.
